Construction progress into Q2!

Work in the month of April started with the “final touches” on the construction of the pit. Concrete was poured into the temporary forms that were installed back in March, creating the walls of the pit. After being left to cure for several days, the forms were removed, revealing the new walls. Once the walls were complete, the construction crew wasted no time backfilling the area around the pit. Within the space of 2 days, the area around the pit was filled up to ground level by a never-ending brigade of dump trucks delivering infill and excavators spreading it to the necessary areas. The rest of the construction area was then leveled using a compaction roller and bulldozers.

From the beginning, Consarc approached this project as a long-term investment into our future. What we’re overcoming now are the inevitable growing pains of a company that has spent decades working toward this point. The expansion of our facilities, expected by early 2027, serves as a clear, physical expression of that effort taking shape after years of persistence and innovation. Meaningful improvements will result, including shorter equipment lead times and faster delivery to our customers. This expansion stands as a tangible reminder that years of hard work are paying off, turning sustained effort into something concrete that will support continued progress for years to come.

What's Next?

Speaking of concrete, in the coming weeks, footers will begin to be placed around the construction site, followed by preparation for the foundation of the new structure. With how fast the past 4 months have flown by, we will be manufacturing equipment in our new space in no time – stay tuned!

Check back each month to see how construction is progressing!
