Consarc Corporation September Construction Update
September Recap
In the past month, internal construction has continued with our expansion. Plumbing and electric are being installed in preparation for the concrete floor to be poured throughout the entire expansion. The underground gas line is being worked on, connecting the line from our existing building to the expansion. Smaller details on the exterior - like the doors and bay doors - have started appearing, along with gutters and final touches on the siding.
As our 65th anniversary draws closer, it is exciting to look back and see just how much Consarc has accomplished.
After launching the company in 1962 and finding success selling our iconic remelt furnaces (Electroslag Remelting & Vacuum Arc Remelting), Consarc was able to expand our product lines, venturing into different industries and meeting the needs of new groups of customers worldwide.
In the present day, Consarc continues to expand our reach further, providing high-quality furnaces for advanced applications in a wide range of industries. Strip-casting and specialty VIM furnaces are some of our newest product lines, which actively aid in the development of the rare-earth magnetics industry.
It's not easy to stay on top of your game for 65 years. Adaptation and growth are essential as industries shift and technology progresses. Consarc is excited to be at another crucial growth point, a time to expand our facility and bring on great new talent, which introduces new ideas and experiences to our organization. This expansion represents so much more than just the larger building; It's a testament to 65 years of hard work and commitment.
