Rotator Saw
The Rotator Saw, which is part of the Savage Saw product line, is Thermatool’s solution designed to cut ESR and VAR electrodes with speed, safety, and straightness of cut as the primary features. This machine will self-center and clamp any electrode from 10” (250mm) to 30” (760mm) with the push of a button. Then position the electrode , start the auto cycle and the SR-1200 will rotate the piece through the blade yielding a precision cut with a machine like finish and ±.003” per vertical inch perpendicularity which will eliminate the need for a face grinding step. Thermatool takes it one step further by doing this all in less than 45 minutes for a 24” (600mm) dia piece, which is almost 10 times faster than the best band saw available today. The SR-1200 comes in various configurations with coolant filtration, and other material handling options to allow you to custom fit this system to your current sawing needs.
