Step Feed Billet Heaters

Banyard™ Step Feed Billet Heaters provide high productivity and heating efficiency. The Step Feed method of operation introduces one billet into the coil, while exiting one billet from the opposing end. Each billet moves through the coil as part of a stack of billets, allowing for excellent end temperature uniformity while maintaining a comparably high overall throughout rate. Due to the nature of the Step Feed system, each billet will spend a comparatively large amount of time within the heating coil (when compared to Single-Shot systems). This allows for exceptional cross-sectional uniformity even on low thermally conductive alloys and large diameter billets.
